I was born in Illinois and moved to Tucson, Arizona with my family when I was 12 years old. After high school I attended the University of Arizona for 3 years, then transferred to Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with an ESL endorsement. I studied Spanish in high school and college then finished my studies with a trip to Spain where I traveled from Southern to Northern Spain, and finally to Madrid. I consider myself to be nearly fluent in Spanish. I taught English as a second language to students in grades K-6 for 3 years before marrying Bryan. Soon after we married we relocated to our farm in Stanfield, Arizona where we grow cotton, alfalfa, corn, milo and raise Angus Cattle. We have four sons who help out on the farm when they are home from school and during the summer. Activities include: Spending time with my family and friends, shopping, hiking, biking and reading.
